The Graveyard

Ideas I love that, for various reasons, weren’t brought to life. May they rest in peace here.

When Taylor Swift released The Tortured Poets Department track list, a song titled Florida!!! caught our eye. My team proactively sold a guerrilla style idea to install !!! decals on Florida signs around the state, giving Swifties a major photo op to celebrate the song and new album.

When TTPD officially dropped, lyrics like “Florida is one hell of a drug” and “Fuck me up Florida”, plus sentiments like burying an ex with all your regrets didn’t quite align with Florida tourism brand standards. Our signage died a very swift death.

We came up with the Whopper Swapper activation because malted milk balls can’t satisfy legit Whopper cravings.

To give our audience what they really want for Halloween, we’d lean into TikTok’s photo response feature: just comment on our post with a pic of your unwanted candy whoppers, and we'll DM you a code for a free BK Whopper.

RIP due to trademark yadda yadda.

New Year promos are like the Super Bowl for Planet Fitness. They sponsor Times Square, push for major PR, and typically run a $1 Down membership offer.

I pitched a 50¢ Down concept with 50 Cent recreating scenes from his In Da Club music video inside a Planet Fitness. Fiddy was past his prime (AKA affordable), but the idea never moved forward.

That February, 50 Cent made a surprise appearance at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem… hanging upside down replicating his iconic “In Da Club” moment while performing the hit song. This one still hurts.

We proposed a new earned media angle for Suja’s Watermelon Love flavor launch: Thirst Traps.

The idea: get the juice spotted organically in trendy c-store pics. Paparazzi style pop-up photoshoots would generate Gen Z-approved social and dating app photos, giving summer thirst traps a whole new meaning.

Anyone wanting to refresh their feed (and their gut, with the help of vitamins and probiotics) could have their photo snapped with Suja in a fresh vibe, ready to post and share the watermelon love.
